His appearance: A tan, sea-weathered and well-muscled man. He wears strands of black pearls and shells woven into his flowing mane of silvery white hair. His eyecolor shifts and is a reflection of his mood, changing from an ice cold grey to the azure of the calm sea.

Clergy: Wavedancers have an obvious affinity for the sea. They often serve as crewmembers on ships or in the navy. They may also work as captains on private ships. Wavedancers are often uneasy around Ysnians. Seeing mortals control water, their deity's element, so cavalierly is a bit blasphemous to them. Wavedancers wear robes in blues, greens and grays. They often wear shell jewelry.

Duties: They're responsible for purifying water, blessing ships, tracking fish for the fisherfolk, making sure the sea's bounty isn't abused and also deterring sea monsters from attacking  the city and ships.

Meran enjoys offerings that reflect the ocean or the winds. He grants his wavedancers powers like purifying water and whistling up the winds.

TETHYS: Lady of the Waters
She's Meran's consort. She controls fresh water sources like rivers, ponds and rain. She is a silveryblue haired, blue eyed woman of great serentity. Her symbol is a rain drop.

Alvero: the Just

Appearance: a slender, golden skinned man with dark piercing eyes and wavy  shoulder length dark hair. He wears a tunic of black and white  with scales embroidered in silver  and black .

Clergy: Justicars  administer justice within the boundaries of the law. They are responsible for mediating disputes and judging court cases.  Some justicars travel and provide these services to people living outside of mykonos. Justicars also act as notaries and legal witnesses. They are true neutrals, seeking balance in all things.

Derros: lover, pleasure giver

Appearance: a youth with rosy skin and a tumble of bronze curls that are twined with green and gold beads. He usually wears a chiton or egyptian style kilt. He smells of jasmine

Clergy: hearts flames are often found in the pleasure palaces of thecity. They work as organizers of the city's many festivals and celebrations. They also aid in the running of bath houses and festhalls. Like truly sensuous people, Flames are always on the lookout for new and pleasurable sensations. Flames dress in shades of red from palest of pink to a deep dark ruby.

Derros grants his clergy  prayers like charm  and prevent pregnancy.

Companions are a special order of hearts flames.

Fidelia: Lady of matrimony

Appearance: a matronly olive skinned woman with black hair worn in a coronet and black eyes. She wears robes of lavender  and gray. She wears violets and ivy twined in her hair. A solemn yet warm hearted goddess.
Clergyy: fidelitas wear lavender and purple robes. They arrange marriages, perform weddings and act as counselors. They also have a relationship with the heralds because they must research family trees when arranging marriages.
 

Arimon: Lord  of Death

Appearance: a tall muscular pale man with white hair and indigo eyes.  He wears black studded with dark colored gems and precious metals. He is as coldy beautiful as his gems
Clergy: Jackals are responsible for administering last rites and the care of corpses. They are also sought out as exorcists. Some jackals also serve as miners and smiths. They wear black and are sometimes called crows as well.

Arimon grants his clergy prayers like speaking with the dead and assessing the value of gems

Fortunata: lady luck

Appearance: a voluptuous honey blonde with emerald green and gold flecked eyes and golden skin. She dresses in green robes embroidered with gold coins. She wears golden coin jewelry.
Clergy: Golden coins are often found running gambling houses or festhalls. They can be found where ever someone thinks a golden's presence will bring good fortune to the venture. So some are adventurers, investors and even healers. Goldens often serve as bankers and money changers.
 

Chala: battlemaiden

Symbol: spear across a shield
Appearance: A tall, lithe, tan woman with close cropped black hair and grey eyes. She's usually in leather armor carrying at least a spear. Chala tends to be solemn  and takes the loyalty of her followers seriously; she's not a goddess to be spurned or scorned lightly.

Clergy: Holy Shields are trained in tactics as well as weapon play. Many serve in the city guard and navy.  Others run teaching yards to train people  in self defense. Others are scholars of passed battles. Holy shields also travel in search of new styles of fighting and tactics.

Appearance: an elderly man with a mane of white hair, golden skin and green eyes. He usually wears grey and white robes and is carrying a book or scroll.

Clergy: Loremasters are responsible for the contents of the Great Library of Mykonos.  They are responsible for  cataloging and conserving the scrolls and books. They are the ultimate researchers seeking out knowledge for its own sake. The city schools are also under the auspices of the loremasters. Some of them also travel and adventure in hopes of finding new knowledge.

Sunya
Portfolio: fertility, plants, harvest
Symbol: sheaf of wheat bound with poppies
Appearance: a full figured woman with warm amber eyes. Her hair is brown with blonde streaks. She always has flowers or vines twined in her hair. Her robes of brown and green shift color with the season.
Clergy: arboria are trained in agriculture and botany. They're responsible for the city's granaries and greenspaces. They also bless the fields and offer advice to farmers.

The arboria also keep a conservatory full of rare and unusual plants. Some arboria travel the world looking for new specimens to add.

Veron
Portfolio: vineyards and winemaking
Symbol: cluster of grapes
Appearance: a youth with purple black hair, plum colored eyes and fair skin. He wears grape leaves twined in his hair and ruby red robes.
Clergy: teach grape growing and winemaking. They also bless the vineyards and are in charge of the city's winestores.

Uastis

Symbol: a cat's head
Appearance: a sleekly feline looking woman with sable hair and green eyes with vertical pupils. A sensual goddess, she's usally wearing silks and velvets of an egpytian look. Her colors are black and gold.
Clergy: the felidae bless animals as well as teach husbandry and veternary skills. Felidae also keep watch against animal abusers, as well as keep an eye out to prevent overhunting. They also revel in sensuality.

Mestra
Portfolio: pain and punishment
Symbol: coiled whip
Appearance: a slender platinum blonde with icy blue eyes, she always carries a whip and is usally clad in black and red leather.
Clergy: scourges also are seen in black and red leather carrying whips. They mete out court ordered punishments.  They also whip those with a taste for it. Some are even self flagellents.

Elaria

Appearance: She has aubern hair with emerald green eyes and fair skin dusted with golden freckles. She wears russet, green and golden robes.
Clergy: Artistes are commited to encouraging and creating works of art. They tend, commission and create all public works. They also offer grants to artists. Some even have studios where they teach their art.

Artistes have the ability to create special artworks. When the goddess is invoked, some act as portals to other planes and others offer a special blessing like healing or luck.

Appearance: a violet eyed blond, he's lean and wiry favoring purple and black robes. Flamboyant even.
Clergy: performers are similar to the artistes in that they are responsible for encouraging as well as creating and performing. They are in charge of the entertainment for city festivals. They also have studios where they create/teach.

Appearance: a blue eyed, brunette, galen favors white and red robes.
Clergy: healers are exactly what they sound like. They operate the city's hospitals as well as offer training to apothecaries and midwives. Some healers travel looking for new healing plants and techniques.
